Primitive Retail Boutique
No…Primitive is not in the South and no, I don’t skate but I do buy P-Rod’s shoes so I thought it would be a good post. And it’s my blog so I can write about what I want.
P.S. - Did you know Paul Rodriguez is only the fifth athlete on the Nike roster to have a signature shoe. That’s big…that’s super, duper big! MEGA MIXXIN’ even! He’s in the same leauge as Michael Jordan and Lebron James. Yeah, let that marinate.

I’m not Deadstock Dan but I got an exclusive for ya, famlee! An original Charleston Riverdogs cap right after they switched their team name and logo from the Charleston Rainbows…yeah, I would have changed my name too! Anyway, this is the REAL DEAL, not a replica, from 1994! I got it straight from the source at the Joe…they only had 8s (as you can see by the sticker) and I have a HUGE head. I’m thinking the only other people that rock 8s are: 1) People with lots of hair (including but not limited to dreadlocks), and 2) People with huge domes (present company included).

New Era chin checks MIKE23
For those of you who think that huge companies (Nike, New Era, Ralph Lauren, etc.) won’t bring the pain on your small company, I submit to you the continued trials and tribulations of Scott Nelson. In case you didn’t know he is the man responsible for MIKE23, a “tribute brand” for Michael “AIR” Jordan. First Nike hit him with a good ol’ fashioned C&D and now New Era is diggin’ in that arse!
I feel bad for Scott because as an up and coming company I understand the hard work and sacrifice it takes to become successfull in such a fickle market as “independant street-wear” but at the same time, he HAD to see this coming, right? I dunno…maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t have tried it. I bought some of his shirts in the past so believe I’m not just saying that “I care” to blow smoke up your behind. I actually am interested in how things work out for Scott. And if they getting at him, I know Gourmet will be next…atleast they should be next, dammit!
