Oh my!
I found a new blog today–that is to say it’s new to me! Read Smoke Signals whenever you get a chance man, this woman is very closely related to our “style” of writting. Don’t look for new sneakers release information on her site either…buddy keeps it real–100! So as far as I’m concerned, I’ve added Miss Sweetberries blog to the rotation.

Wale may hate us!
Just finished listening to Wale’s new mixtape! I like it alot…but right now i’m too busy trying to figure out if Wale hates the South on the low. I feel some subliminal shots at us but maybe I feel that way because:
A) I’m pro-South and take EVERYTHING that ANYONE says about us to heart,
B) I was half listening to it anyway. It’s not good to make harsh statements like “Wale hates the South!” when you can’t give your full attention to the subject in question…that’s why I said he MAY hate us,
C) He did some similiar stuff in his last mixtape 100 Miles and Running with the “TASTY” skit (which WAS funny though) and maybe now that he got a NYC based brand backing him up [10 Deep], he feels like he can be more blatent about his distane for our brand of music…or,
D) Maybe it’s track one…and maybe it’s the titles of the tracks themselves…OR,
E) All of the above.
I would really like some input from other people about this. I understand already that only 10 people below the Mason-Dixon line have even ever heard of him but still–I’m sure my thoughts are a product of his wordplay + not really paying attention. You can get it by following this link.
